Very good location, close to center and bus station, apartment was very clean and big enough for two persons. We will definitely return, fully recommend! Emanuele is the best!!!

Great location close to the main train station and bus station. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. There was coffee and tea in the kitchen. The host Emanuele also provides a free shuttle, he picked me up at 4am! This is an amazing option.

I didn't like that the apartment is on the ground floor. I could hear noise from the street. Garbage collectors were coming at night.

Clean and comfortable

We chose this place because description included kitchen with microwave, hob and oven and we wanted to cook. All that was available was one hotplate. Owner said microwave was broken and later claimed microwave and oven were one appliance. Description clearly showed them as separate.

The free airport pick-up and drop-off was a plus for us. The owner, Emmanuel was very helpful and since we had an early flight, we were able to check into the apartment in the morning. Spacious dinning/kitchen area and a family bedroom. Close to the Bus/Train Terminals and a supermarket, SICA nearby.

It was very convenient to walk to main Catania Centrale Station.

A beautiful apartment full of Sicilian charm and character. We were met by the owner who handed over the keys and showed us where everything was. The neighbourhood is within walking distance of the train and bus station which was ideal for us as we arrived by train. We had seen some negative comments about the area, but as seasoned travels this didn’t bother us as we like to experience a city properly and we enjoy seeing the back streets and feel you get to see far more of a place like this. Catania is a busy and vibrant city, sadly it’s let down by the rubbish on the streets in some areas, but this is the same in other parts of Italy so we knew this would be the case. We felt safe when we were out both during the day and when returning at night. We found some great restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. We were able to walk to the city centre and attractions and enjoyed exploring the city on foot. We took a Uber to the beach on one of our days stay, a great beach club and facilities. We spent a few weeks travelling around Sicily using the local trains and would recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the real Sicily!
