Great city central location with parking, which is a huge bonus. The parking garage is tight (not unusual in Portugal) so you’d want to be sure you have a small car if you are going to access it. Superb communication via WhatsApp. Francisco was able to accommodate a last minute request for the sofa bed to be made up prior to arrive. Afonso met us when he said he would and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. He even thoughtfully got our dog a bowl of water after her long morning of travel. The entire place was spotless. For the price paid it is a superb value and the communication and friendliness of the hosts was top notch.

Not a big deal since there are several markets within easy walking distance but it is good to know ahead of time that although there is a washing machine, no laundry soap provided. The bed was not super comfy; however, compared to many terrible mattress experiences at other rentals in Portugal it really was not too bad. The upper shower head mount is broken so you have to shower using the handheld shower.

Clean, spacious apartment, very close to city centre. The underground parking was great, especially since the area seemed very busy. We met with someone who handed us the keys and recommended a nice local restaurant where we had a great, inexpensive lunch. The apartment is less than 10 minutes walk from city centre.

Host was very friendly and informative. apartment was clean and included all utilities we needed.

The location is very central and the parking was secured underground as part of our reservation. The apartment is a clean, large one bedroom, with a well equipped kitchen. Afonso, a very helpful and friendly fellow, met us at the front door, got us checked in and pointed out some of the necessities like where markets and restaurants were located. Made for a great visit of Coimbra.

Truthfully I'd be just nit picking to find something I didn't like.

Location just a few minutes walk from historic center of town was excellent. Apartment is spacious and bright but quiet because it does not give onto main street. It was very well equipped with everything necessary for stay, including light cooking. Big plus was private parking space in the same building. Pingo Doce supermarket is three minutes walk away.

The hosts were great! Francisco communicated well with Booking messaging and provided his WhatsApp number to contract him to arrange a pickup time for keys. We were met by his wife, a lovely woman who I believe was named Paula, and her adorable dog. She gave a thorough orientation to the apartment's features and how to access the free underground parking -- free, secure parking was terrific to have while in Coimbra. The apartment was spacious and nice, exceeding our expectations. It was located within a very easy walk (mere blocks) to historic sites and the historic center. Nearby, there was a shopping center, a good Indian restaurant, and even a Cat Cafe where we got to play with sweet rescue cats available for adoption.
