Old Market Apartments

The flat itself was of a decent size, despite the space constraints. The Wi-Fi was more than reliable for streaming on the TV, and the kitchenette was a highlight. The fact I was able to wash my clothes was great. The bed was quite comfy, and it was close to Bristol Temple Meads. I think the decor was nice, modern, and the dark colours made it quite cosy in the evening. The shower was excellent, and having hot water on demand from the taps was neat, especially when washing the dishes after my evening meals.

I do think that the flat would be better if there was a fan available for customers, if they need it. Because of the location and where the building faces, the sun comes in, and it does get very hot and stuffy, even with windows open. I understand that extreme weather is not a regular occurrence, but I do sincerely believe that a fan would have been welcome. I was confused as to why a dishwasher tablet was left in the room, when my room did not have a dishwasher. Maybe a clothes pod for the washing machine would have been better? There was a large build up of rubbish outside the flat, which did cause a bit of a stink, and the noise from traffic could be a bit loud, even if the windows were closed. Some sort of maiden would have also been good for drying my clothes as well

Cancellation process

It was cancelled. The previous guest lost the keys and I couldn't check in. I was offered another location but, needed to pay an extra deposit outside booking.com . The location didn't suit my expectations and, the deposit needed a credit card I didn't bring with me.

Cozy and comfy room. Kitchenette is convenient to cook food if needed.

The main thing was batteries were dead in remote so couldn’t watch TV first night. We ended up buying new batteries despite letting them know. Sink wasn’t draining and was reported again we had to fix it ourselves. There was a party on Saturday night so we couldn’t sleep well however we understand that maybe they hadn’t realise it was 5/6am.

It was a studio, had a bed, a sink and a shower area, entry to property was easy with key box.

It was dirty, an alarm was going off, the pictures look significantly better than the reality, lacked even basic provisions like loo roll,
