Old Market Apartments

The decor of the apartment was good and it was actually cleaned to a good standard. The location was useful too. I was in apartment two so it had a bedroom, bathroom and living area, which was ample room for me on my own.

There was a really bad smell in the hallway and a less bad but equally not great smell in the apartment - kind of like wallpaper paste. The shower was draining too slowly and I nearly flooded the bathroom when I took a quick shower.

There was no microwave. I think it's an essential nowadays.

Affordable clean tidy small studio for a quick no fuss stay, it has all the essential amenities like microwave, fridge and utensils.

Location even though was close to the station but it was slightly away from the city centre which is accessible by bus. The shower room space was very tight. And I think a chair high enough to reach the window ledge will be desirable as the extended ledge acts like a table. It will be useful for having meals as well. The flight of stairs was tricky as I had a heavy suitcase but it wasn’t so much an issue for me.

Great location- 10 minute walk from Temple Meads- and very nicely decorated and presented (though the communal area is a bit scruffy). Also very cool on a hot day- no need for AC or a fan.

The mattress is not very good- very soft and lumpy. Also there was no chair in the apartment. Also in the morning the hot water in the shower did not kick in until about 8.45- there was no hot water in the shower at 8am when I first tried it- so I had to wash my hair in very cold water.

Great location

Not the biggest place. The smallest shower I ever seen in my whole life. The cleaning is not the best, especially the fridge 🤢 The entry of the building smells funky
