Heated flooring in the bathroom

I didn’t realise this was a shared property until after booking it and reading the negative reviews. It isn’t closed off from the main house, which wasn’t clear in the listing. There were no signs for parking, and the driveway was very steep and hard to turn a vehicle around . We found only two rolls of toilet paper and two face cloths provided for a family of four for two nights. The main bed dipped noticeably in the middle, and there was visible dust under the beds and couches, which triggered my daughter’s allergies. The property wasn't fenced, so it was really that pet friendly. We left the towels together for easy collection, beds unmade so they could be stripped easily, and all dishes cleaned and put away. Despite that, I received a message after checkout saying we had left the unit “in such a mess” and that we were “not welcome to come here in future.” That message was unnecessary and unkind. From reading other reviews, it seems we’re not the first guests to have had a similar experience, so I don’t believe this is an isolated issue. I wouldn’t recommend this property for families or for anyone looking for a relaxed and welcoming stay.

Easy instructions from host for access - apartment was lovely and clean.

Apartment was not separate from house so not completely private however this did not really have any impact on our visit.

Location was great, property well furnished and clean. Beautiful garden

Everything - comfortable, spacious and warm.

Nothing - although it’s possibly a bit far away for some people.

Loved the space, the art, the garden.
