Everything was superb

Our schedules did not allow us to stay longer.

Beautiful, roomy accommodation. Whole lower level with private entrance, parking right outside our door. Lawn and gardens were award winning class! Hosts were very kind.

The drive from city centre was a bit crazy coming up the curvey narrow roads! By the last day we had it mastered!

The fact it is the bottom of someones house...

We were required to provide details of our estimated arrival time at the property, described as being a two bedroom apartment which you would have full use of. We arrived at the property within the timeframe provided to find there was no key safe with the host not available. We called the host on the phone number provided and left a message advising we had arrived at the property. The host eventually arrived at the property advising she’d been walking with her dog, despite knowing our ETA. There was no apology forthcoming. The accommodation, which had no separate entrance and was an integral part of the host’s home, was located on the lower ground floor of the home with the host having the freedom to access the area at will. There was also at least one camera visible. On realising it was just the two of us, the host said we only needed the one bedroom and appeared to be annoyed when we said we required both bedrooms. The kitchen facilities were basic at best and limited. To be honest we felt very uncomfortable during our stay, particularly as we had no alternative but to have whispered conversations as any louder would have carried up the open stairwell to the host’s living quarters.
