Madeira Xhic Apartment by Amazing Madeira

Well positioned apartment in a central location and near to the Old Town. Apartment was clean, tidy and well furnished. Bed and bed linen of very good quality.

If we had have been cooking in, kitchen equipment was basic, however does have ample sized fridge and freezer + easy to operate hob (and oven).

Check-in was a bit of a hassle and had to find another parking until check-in time. The remote for the parking garage did not always work; needed a few tries sometimes.

It is a very nice apartment, the bed and sofa were comfortable and the shower was fantastic . It was great to have a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is central, only a few minutes from the cathedral, with a supermarket across the road. The communication was excellent , the young lady that met us at the apartment was there when we arrived and was very helpful.

The view from a lot of the windows was of a wall, which meant the apartment could be dark. The kettle leaked, I got a prompt reply when I asked for a replacement, but the owner couldn't get one until the day before we left. I would have thought the agents could have got one and then been reimbursed by the owner, but that didn't happen. It was annoying to have to spend the week boiling water in a pan to make a drink.

Great location and very comfortable apartment with all amenities and aircon. Friendly and helpful owners/agency.

It will be great to have some more coffee capsules and toilet paper for a longer stays.

Location was fantastic, in between 2 supermarkets & near market. Excellent for walking to meeting points for tours etc. Bed mattress was very comfortable. Shower was blissful...good water pressure. Lovely space & balcony area. Appreciated washing machine. Would happily stay here again.

It was noisy from the road, so definitely needed earplugs & eyepads. There were plastic coated pillow protectors on pillows which were very annoying...rustling everytime we moved our heads. The duvet was very warm so we needed cooling on low to feel comfortable. The bathroom is very small but manageable. It could use a couple of hooks though to hang up towels. These things didnt stop us from having a great stay there.

Exactly as you see in the pictures, very spacious and a fabulous location.
