Location was good in close proximity to shopping centre and good restaurants / highway easily accessible. Big sized apartment with ample space. Good amounts of storage for clothes and belongings.

The bed was quite uncomfortable, with the mattress being unsupportive and hard, which left us feeling sore and uncomfortable during our stay. The air conditioning automatically turned off in the middle of the night even when no timer was set. The window tinting made the apartment really dark. Limited insulation in the building meant that the neighbours above walking around in their apartments was very loud and annoying at night.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, spacious, and very well designed. I really appreciated the layout, with the bedroom clearly separated from the kitchen and living area, which made the space feel comfortable and functional. Despite being located right in the city center, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, which was a big plus. As a small suggestion for improvement, I would add some extra lighting in the kitchen and a floor or table lamp in the living room to make the space even cozier in the evenings. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay and I would happily recommend it.

If I had to mention any downsides, it would be the lack of a private washing machine in the apartment. There is one shared washing machine for the whole building, but at times it was difficult to find a free slot. On Madeira, especially if you go hiking, clothes tend to get dirty quite quickly, so this was a bit inconvenient.
