Watergate Penthouse - NEW 2 bed luxury apartment in City Centre

Location was good

The entrance way smelled of damp but most importantly The shower didn't work

great location very clean and everything we needed.

Location had its advantages and disadvantages. Liked the decor of the apartment , little home comforts like tea,coffee ,salt and pepper available . Dishwasher, hairdryer, smart tvs in each room absolute great. Fan available in the little cupboard in the apartment,dressing table,clothes rail, towels for each guest and each room. Shower gel and hand wash etc available in the bathrooms lovely little touch. Wi-Fi also available and good connection. Breakfast bar with stools .Blankets available ,absolutely loved the blinds as well very modern . And had a warming feel to it.

Location although right in the centre of Chester, short walk from accessible car park, easy to find. It’s situated right on the streets with nightlife , Monday and Thursday we’re easily the most noisy nights, (we stayed mon-Fri) due to the hot weather and the apartment being top floor it was boiling , didn’t feel able to close the windows not that I think it would of made much difference in noise level. Woken early by bin wagons or deliveries unloading . Beds were smaller than expected myself and my partner are quite tall and there wasn’t much wriggle room us both being in the bed. Shower wasn’t much good either, seems to be pressure issue as the sink hot water tap wasn’t much better,Took forever to fill the sink to wash the dishes

I liked the location.

It’s a bit noisy on a Thursday ans Friday night. On entrance to the property it ok and smelly. The apartment. Was ok, it just needs a Little paint. It was not clean.

A really nice apartment in perfect location. Bedrooms comfy. Fully equipped kitchen. Dishwasher tablets and fairy supplied also kitchen roll tea & coffee etc which was amazing.

Smell of hallwall as very old and unkept, bannister broken and loose in places. Door handle on bathroom hanging off. Shower was rubbish it was a trickle and either freezing or scalding. Carpets stained in places. Edges of shower need repairing. It could be amazing if little things looked after a bit more and these things repaired. No hairdryer but as soon as I contacted they brought one in 10 minutes.

Right in the heart of Chester, great location with lots of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was clean and perfect for us for the few days we were staying there.

No car parking at the address however there is a car park nearby which only cost £6 per day

Modern property but it needs a little love and a professional cleaner, dirty cleaning sponge dirty cutlery dirty mugs ,dirty draw in the bottom of fridge, dirty oven glove cupboard doors dirty extremely small sofa needs a really good hoover all glass needs a good clean ,the front bedroom hadn’t been hoovered the drawers was dirty inside so we didn’t use them the cladding behind the bed was extremely dusty etc..

Bed was comfy in master room Plenty of stuff to settle u in like coffee machine kitchen wear

Second bedroom bed is too low Windows are needing some sound proof We had no sleep No hairdryer when I was told there was one so didnt bring one I would of fetched mine ! Bathroom toilet roll holder loose skirting on side of shower Kick plate under the dishwasher was hanging off Hot was pressure slow not much water coming out The windows really need attention asap
