The location was very central restaurants, supermarkets and the cable car in walking distance. Highly recommend hiring a car. The car park was a 10 minute walk away and 5 euros per day (note it only took coins or 5 or 10 euro notes, no higher notes or cards). Staff were responsive and helpful and provided parking options. Great facilities including the full fridge, microwave and washing machine which came in handy especially after the long and sometimes dusty walks. The little welcome gifts were very appreciated.

Another mug is needed as there was only one and luckily we bought a thermos that one of us had to drink out of because of the lack of mugs. The shower head didn’t stay up and kept falling down and water didn’t distribute and come out of the shower head properly. It might need some maintenance or to be replaced. The bed creaked quite a bit. The hairdryer is one of those attached to the wall like in motels so it doesn’t work particularly well and the range of movement is limited. It would be helpful to include a clothing rack in the room as we were out early in the morning and back late at night and didn’t feel comfortable leaving our clothes outside two levels down in the communal outdoor hanging space for that long or in case of wind or rain.

Bed was a bit squeaky

It was just perfect! amazing! everything is extremely clean, smells good, so so comfortable. we were just so happy every time to return home after sightseeing, because it’s very cozy and nice and it has everything you need. location is just perfect

Great location, super close to loads of restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Lovely apartment, really clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend if you're staying for a while in Funchal, there are great facilities to cook and a washing machine! The hosts were really responsive, helped us find a good car parking lot and were there to help with any questions we had.

The hot water didn't last very long, that's the only think I can think of!

It was very spacious, clean, modern, close to the city centre and the fact we could rent out three properties for a group of 5.

Nice and cozy apartment. You could see that someone put in the effort and love to take care of it.

Some facilities were a bit old, for example the kitchen and dishes, which made it a bit difficult to cook there.
