The patio area wasn’t as the photos. It has been left in a state of disrepair for a long time. Really should remove the photos,As they misrepresent the public.

The furniture in the room is lovely and holds a lot of character.

The fact that the toilet needs repairing, it barely flushes. There is also mildew/damp in the bathroom- not good for anyone, especially someone with a low immune system, which my partner has. There was no hot water, apparently this was due to a heatwave. Initially offered a voucher if we came back. We couldn't due to the location being too difficult in terms of walking for my other half. We then asked for a partial refund, which we were given £30. The communication around this became hostile. I then woke up to messages the next day which again, was hostile. After I stopped communicating, the host then accused us of taking a pen and because I chose not to respond to such silliness, this was further met with another irritated message to say my account had been reported. I have never had an issue staying anywhere before and it's a shame because it could be a nice place, but ultimately, it isn't worth the hassle. The kitchenette is also a fire hazard with switches taped over etc. There was also a flea, only the one but we were tempted to leave at that point, however, since my partner isn't in this best health, we couldn't do the drive back that night. I had in fact reported the host first due to the communication issue, mostly.

Everything was excellent, lovely decor and very comfortable bed

The location is excellent. Big room.
