Tranquil Beachside Stay - Atlantic Gardens Beach

Excellent place, spacious apartment, very clean with plenty of towels and a washing machine. The sofa and the chairs in the living room were very comfortable. We also appreciated that communal corridors, staircases etc were tidy and well maintained. I personally was very grateful for the proximity of the recycling point as it was located on the same floor.

Matresses were a bit hard to sleep on so it would be great to place toppers on.

This was our favourite stay on Madeira. Everything was great. The apartment was very spacious and clean, beds comfortable, the ocean view amazing, big terrace and wifi good. Washing machine and coffee machine - big bonus! The parking lot is in front of the building, and we always found a free space available. Staff was very helpful and provided all needed info before check in. Oh yes, the kids enjoyed the pool - clean water and the right temperature.

We liked everything.

Location of the accomodation was beautiful, especially the direct view of the ocean. Several restaurants in walking distance as well as supermarkets.

The appartment was outdated, could need some renovation. The bathroom was old, some parts even damaged. It was clean though. The pictures do not show the appartment as is. In the kitchen there were only the bare necessities. Not enough I suppose if you were with more than 2 people. The building itself is also a bit outdated.

The property had free parking and although not reserved, it was easy to find a spot every day at all times of the day. The apartment looked exactly like the photos, although a bit dated it was very clean and everything worked well. The sheets and towels were clean, the balcony and pool were great additions. It was great to be able to walk out from the pool to the beach and boardwalk everyday. The apartment is centrally located to everything, 15 mins to downtown Funchal and close distances to many restaurants and stores.

The towels could use some upgrading as they felt very worn and the toilets didn’t always flush properly.
