Charming Hen Cottage Countryside Retreat Lincoln

Beautiful location. Warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Easy access. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The inside was well presented. Complimentary refreshments were a welcome bonus. Every detail was well thought of and arranged attentively. Cosy living space. Full Kitchen facilities. Home produce & baked goods. Smart TV in lounge area with WiFi. Village pub within 5 minutes drive down the road. 10-15 minute drive to Lincoln Waitrose Park & Ride. Very convenient location and access.

Lovely quiet cottage surrounded by peaceful gardens, just 15 minutes drive from the historic centre of Lincoln. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Lovely setting in pretty grounds

Peaceful location. Great facilities and access to space for dog (who avoided the chickens!). Excellent hosts, all the extras much appreciated. Friends who we visited asked if we would stay there again, immediate response "in a heartbeat!"

Would have liked a larger shower

Probablement le gite le plus propre que j'aie jamais vu. Moquette blanche immaculée, divan relax, cuisine super équipée, machine à laver séchante... rien ne manque pour passer un bon moment. Les hôtes sont à la fois discrets et présents si nécessaire. Le coin est d'un calme absolu, seule ombre au tableau: difficile de faire des randonnées dans le coin: tout est clôturé.

Le frigo est un peu petit, en dehors de cela, tout était parfait.

The foods provided were excellent, homemade fruit cake, fresh milk, fresh eggs from the hens roaming the garden, wine, chocolate treats, savoury snacks, fresh fruit, tea and good coffee. A real delight! The host was very welcoming and available throughout our visit. The grounds are lovely.

Natasha was a very responsive host, she met us in the road to ensure we found the the property, but the directions were excellent. The property was immaculate. The welcome basket was unexpected and a wonderful addition to an idyllic stay. The kitchen was sparkling clean and well equipped. We loved being able to do our washing. Everything that we could have needed was included. The view of the chickens out the window was a bonus. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The kitchen window didn’t open which made it a little stuffy during the amazing weather we had while there.

Hosts went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay.
