David house alla Vucciria

Great location and cosy. Some street noise, and building works opposite, but it is in a city so to be expected. Didn't use the kitchen apart from the kettle as lovely places to eat all around us. Shower base is cracked so could do with replacing, but everything was clean and worked.

Great Italian style apartment, has all the amenities, located 5 minutes walk from the pedestrian street with all the restaurants. There were no problems during the stay at all. The apartment had crockery, two working air conditioners and a fan, coffee machine, washing machine, hairdryer. The owner is very responsible and pleasant to deal with, speaks English. Once we could not open the door, we called the owner and he came as soon as possible to solve the problem. We highly recommend this apartment.

Davide is a great host. He met us at the apartment when we arrived and explained everything to us. The apartment is old and has old furnishings that are very charming. It is very close to many restaurants and shops and an easy walk to the market. We had a very enjoyable stay. Davide drove us to the airport at the end of our stay.

It gets a bit noisy at night from nearby restaurants and bars but that is all part of the charm.

Location. Location location !! Good Bedrooms. Space was great.

Only two rolls of toilet paper. Ran out of hot water quickly. Very very noisy in weekends. - yet it is a nosy city. - very low headroom walking up to apartment. ( I’m 6’3” so… : )

The location in the historic district is convenient and in walking distance to major tourist attractions. The flat is well equipt and comfortable. The bed is exceptional (the best we had in our 3 week trip throughout Italy). I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Booking.com states there is free parking, which is not accurate. However, the host, David, pointed us to a parking location that was a couple of blocks away. This proved to be a good solution as parking is a real problem for everyone in the historic section. A car rental made seeing much of Sicily a necessity.

Close to Main Street.

Davide was very kind and friendly and flexible, the area is very exciting, just a few minutes from Vucciria.

Everything was fine! We were not disappointed in Palermo and the Italians! Sicily is beautiful, even better live than in the pictures.
