Casa Santa Sofia

The terrace is incredible - the highlight of the place. The views really take your breath away! It was our first time in Palermo and we felt in the heart of everything. Pierpaolo was very friendly and answered any questions quickly. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms (showers are not great but we managed fine). Nice to have coffee, bottled water, and even some wine provided, everything else we needed was available really close by.

With this great location comes noise! The first night of our stay (a Thursday) a band played on the street below. They played great music and stopped at midnight - great, fair enough. Friday night was a different story! Club music played in the street below til about 4am and it was almost unbearably loud! Loud like a speaker was in the apartment on full volume. So beware if sleep is important to you. It's just the night life of Palermo! We'd definitely come stay again, just not at a weekend!

Location, rooftop terrace

the bed were comfortable and the out side balcony was fantastic

we had over 3 night music playing in the square behind the apartment. unfortunately they are illegal raves happening all over Italy and Sicily but it meant that it was impossible to get to sleep before it was stopped by the police . it was so loud it was like being in the front row in a large rock concert.

Amazing location, amazing rooftop. The host was very easy to interact with and was super accommodative for my family. Highly recommend.

Kitchen not well equipped

The apartment is wonderful, and the roof terrace exceptional. 360 degree views of the city, mountains and sea. Loved it. Location just off the busy Via Emanuel. It can be noisy with party revellers in the street until the early hours, but that's Palermo, embrace it!

Just on saturday very loud because of the night clubs vut only on saturdays
