Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa

I really liked this charming little all wooden tree house, which the owner built himself with attention to detail! It is in a very good condition and has everything you need. I loved being surrounded by the sound of the jungle and even got a visit from two monkeys. :) I'd love to come back sometime!

Nothing real negative, but be aware that you will need a tuk tuk for any trip to Mirissa (7 minutes drive) which the owner can arrange for you easily. Also think about bringing food to prepare in the little kitchen, as there is no possibility to order breakfast or other meals.

Cinnamon View Lodge is such a beautiful place and quiet , peaceful place. The accommodation itself has a bathroom, kitchen and an air conditioner. I will definitely come back ... amazing place!😍

Relaxed and free place. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well-equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was perfect. We had been to this resort just for 1 night and yes the experience was really amazing

Absolutely amazing place set within nature. If you love wildlife and peace, this is the place for you. We spent 5 hours just wildlife spotting from the balcony! The hosts were very friendly. Place was very clean and comfortable. Good AC.

The road to the property is a little tricky but this is to be expected for a place that’s within nature.

Great quiet cabin 5-10min away from Mirissa. Property is on a hill (road is bumpy so take it easy when you drive there) and the cabin is in the backyard of the owners' family house. It's completely private though, you're surrounded by trees, birds, frogs and monkeys. We stayed for two nights, one of which the owner drove us to town and back for dinner, which was was lovely and kind. Host family are lovely and we felt very welcome.

Honestly was probably our best stay in Sri Lanka. In the past we ran out into an issue that reviews/photos on booking don't reflect the reality but not in this case. The property looks better in reality. Super clean and we had everything we needed and staff was so helpful. It is a 10 minutes drive from the beach but you can rent a scooter from the property. And it is super quiet, we had such a relaxing time having breakfast with squirrels and birds. The villa was build by the owner family and you can tell that they are proud of their work and they maintain it very well. Overall, amazing, book there you won't regret it.
