Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa

This place was an absolutely perfect getaway. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The bed was super comfy and you are literally in the jungle. Hot water shower. AC if you need it. The family are very friendly. Thank you for such a great stay

Room was quite small and it was located quite far away from the centre. It was about a 40 minute but up very steep lanes!

The most incredible place to stay in Mirissa. 5min drive from the city center. Hosts were very warm and welcoming. Property is located at a part of the owner's garden but we had all the privacy we needed thanks to the surrounding nature. It was a vey clean and cozy place with AC, a comfortable queens' bed pillows, a bedside table and sockets near the bed. Bathroom was tiny but well equipped with hot water, extra towels, toilet papers and soap. There was free Wi-Fi for guests to use. And there was a veranda with chairs with a scenic view of cinnamon trees. Kitchen was placed outside with all the necessary items. You can cook a whole meal if needed because they have provided everything. A gas cooker, a refrigerator, pots, knives, spoons, glasses, cups and even a juice maker. Owners' house is very close but they were very nice not to disturb us at all. The place is truly a great place to spend a night, especially for a couple.

The Cinnamon Lodge is really great! It is well equipped with everything you need and perfectly build. Especially the kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. It was a real pleasure to stay here. We got a delicous lime juice as a welcome drink and they also surprised us with fresh fruits from their garden. We loved the feeling of being in a treehouse in the jungle and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay. Best view, surrounded by nature and jungle style. Beautiful house, quiet and private. Really recommend it.

The family was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and got us settled in straight away. The owner was very nice and ensured everything was up to our standards, and even organised us a tuk tuk into Mirissa and back. The room itself was immaculate - very clean and cosy with a nice outdoor kitchen and bench area. It is part of the family's house land, so help was a stones throw away if we needed it, but it was still very private thanks to the natural tree cover. This was definitely one of the best hotels we have visited in Sri Lanka :)
