Studio apartment 3a in the Center of Norwich

Firstly, the location was perfect with local bars and restaurants very close by and a short walk to the cathedral and shopping. The apartment itself was a little tired, the steel was stained, and I found the bed uncomfortable. The kitchen was fine for us as only used for hot drink making, but there were no cloths or scourers for washing up though washing up liquid was provided.. the bathroom radiator did not work, and the shower was in need of a good scrub . The teabags and coffee sachets and milk were a welcome but no sugar. Luckily, I took my own. . The flat was cold on arrival but was switched on after I contacted Josh, this maybe could have been addressed earlier 🤔. The pics on booking .com show a river view from apartments with balconies but we were over the car park, a little misleading. All of that being said the location was the thing that was a massive plus was the location, I feel with just a few things being addressed the review would be a 10/10.

It was a nice flat near the river and the center. There are some pubs near by and is easy to get breakfast etj. It was clean and easy to get there.

The ports did nt close or stay open. The bed was small and really uncofortable. The kitchen was small and had a few things.

Lovely spacious clean apartment. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Good powerful shower. Excellent location less than 5 mins walk to the cathedral

Location & gated car park, size of room as fine for what we needed.

Couple of minor issues maybe. Kitchen window wouldn’t close. Had trouble connecting to internet initially & wasn’t provided car park key code or which bay number to use. Most of these were sorted though.

The location was very fine once you got away from the building.

Windows were dirty inside and out and covered with cobwebs. A foul chemical smell came from the kitchen. Wash had been left in the machine. The bedding was covered with lint and so thoroughly crumpled I could not tell it had been laundered except that the small of detergent was strong enough to make my eyes burn. Hair (not mine) on the pillow. Couch had crumbs and hair. The entry to the building is stained and filthy. The view outside the windows is of a parking lot with windows boarded up with stained wood and cardboard and dumpsters below. Nothing lovely about this. It took a day to find alternate lodgings and I left. I have made repeated calls and sent correspondence to Booking.com and to the manager of this site. I got one angry and defensive reply from the manager, and zero accountability from booking.com. This whole experience reflects very poorly on booking.com as a reliable provider of travel accommodation.

The location was convenient for the cathedral and city center Tea and coffee was appreciated.

Becoming a bit worn, relatively x sz mall things eg kitchen window was a bit awkward to close, oven dial has worn off the cooker so hard to set the temperature, settee could do with a deep clean

My partner and I had such a lovely time on our short stay here. Josh was so helpful with any questions we had and answered the phone immediately. We have recommended this accommodation to friends and family and definitely be returning it is perfect!
