A bit noisy but closing the windows helped a lot. Not a major problem
GBThis is a comfortable property in a brilliant location for exploring Palermo. The hosts were helpful and attentive, but never intrusive. The facilities may have been on the basic side, but more than sufficient to make this a comfortable stay. Be aware, however, Palermo can be a tad noisy and energetic, but well worth the time we spent there.
You can always nitpick, but I thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

ZAThe flat was very spacious and Giulia was a great host and very quick to respond to text messages The location was good (during the day). 20 min walk to Palermo central station, 36 minute walk to the bus stop to Mondello. There are metro and bus stops within 6 minutes of walking. It is very close to tourist attractions, good for walking tours
The area of the flat felt unsafe at night. I went for dinner 10 min walk away (usually not a long walk at all), and at 7.30pm which is not late, but the surrounding streets aren’t well lit. You need to walk through Ballaro area to get to the main restaurant area, but that crosses the Ballaro market which was very dodgy at night. Poorly lit and lots of groups of men standing around. I have since read other reviews of the area being unsafe. I do a lot of solo travelling and this was the first time I’d felt unsafe walking at night. It is probably better located to stay if you are 1) in a group 2) driving or taking a cab door to door During the day it was absolutely fine as there are people around the market, it was just after sunset that it is dark and deserted

HUGreat location, clean apartman and a great host. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a great time in the midst of Palermo’s downtown area. The location was so perfect that we rarely had to use any public transportation, most historical sites and points of interest are just several minutes of walk away.
GBImmaculately presented apartment with nearly everything you need in the in the centre of the old town. Great location for exploring Palermo within walking distance of all the local restaurants and sights.
At rush hour in the morning and evening this is the noisiest place I have stayed at with constant mopeds, scooters and horns. A microwave would have been handy.
SKGBAbsolutely wonderful location, in the centre of Palermo, near to several main tourist attractions. 5 mins walk from train station. 20 min walk down to the sea/port. Apartment was impeccably clean. Facilities were standard such as coffee machine, TV, shower etc. There was AC on the wall in main room and an AC machine upstairs near the bed too. Host was amazing with recommendations throughout and also replies to messages within minutes.
