The garden apartment

The location was perfect, the property was very nice with all the facilities you need. It was also very private with the added bonus of being able to park the car. The hosts were ever so welcoming, even left us fresh milk and biscuits. We will 100% be returning.

Great location as it’s close to the coastal path & supermarket. Very handy that parking was provided. Kitchen well equipped. Owners are lovely and we enjoyed watching the frog in the pond.

Would have preferred for the property to have been more thoroughly cleaned before we arrived - more attention to detail needed. It’s evidently a pet friendly space.

Very cosy garden apartment with everything we needed. Nice and quiet and set in lovely surroundings. Fantastic location with St Ives only a 20 minute walk along the coastal path (bit muddy in places though, so walking boots better) and Carbis Bay even closer in the opposite direction. A gorgeous little pub The Cornish Arms was a 1 minute walk away that does good food and Sunday Roasts. There’s also a fantastic bus service that picks up right outside the pub to take you into St Ives, which we used several times as it’s a bit uphill on the way back 😂 Very centrally located without the high prices that some places charge in St Ives itself. Absolutely wonderful stay, will definitely be back.

Walking into St.Ives

The bathroom wasn’t clean, dust and dog hair all in the shower, sink and toilet was dirty. Mould up the wall on shower and in the lounge. The fridge smelt of gone off milk, no milk provided for a cuppa. Tv didn’t work, fire alarm went off at 4;30am for no reason. Security light out slide bedroom window stayed on the entire night. Heating stopped working and the kitchen tap was scolding hot. The standard of cleanliness needs to be highly improved and the property could do with a makeover to update tired paintwork etc

This is our 3rd stay at this lovely garden apartment. Very peaceful, good location and we love the wood burner. Parking is a bonus so we can walk to and from St Ives and Carbis Bay.

The location of the apartment was very good, near a supermarket and we were able to walk into St Ives -there is a good local bus service if you don’t want to walk. The apartment had large windows which provided lots of light and views over the garden. Dee and Jimmy are just the nicest and most helpful hosts, really lovely couple

Would have liked comfy chairs as opposed to a sofa but that was just a minor point as we are no fond of sofas!

The location was fabulous and near everything. So close to Tesco's as well to grab food and a costa as well all within walking distance and a pub. The hosts were fantastic so helpful, also gave us milk and coffee and biscuits when we arrived. Gave us Free use of there drive way as well. They were so friendly. There is a bathroom, fire, Wi-Fi included , kitchen area with all that you would need. Nice sofa and you have your own entrance. Jim had left all telephone numbers that you would need. including hospital, doctor etc. It's also just a bit outside St Ives , but it's not far into the centre of St Ives and the Harbour. You also will need to pay for all the car parks while in St Ives. You can also walk from the apartment to St Ives on the coastal path. The views are amazing.

The shower was the only thing. It was just a little less pressurized than what we are used too. So, it's fine if you don't mind that, it's I guess what you are used too.
