Everything was beautiful the host was so kind

The location was perfect, the apartment beautiful it's as is (shown on pic).peaceful area and close to malls , garage (even better) and restaurants.

When we arrived late midnight we missed a day stay due to rain and accident on the road, when i made the booking I had inquired if there was a lift for my mom who's in a wheelchair ,they host said yes but they have stairs to get to the lift,I asked how many was told 5steps and the lift.i said it's fine. We get to our apartment and the it's a flight of stairs 16if not more with no one to help ,my mother had to crawl up the stairs in pain, the place was not thoroughly cleaned ,there was hair left on the kitchen counter ,the pillowcase cases had stains even if it was washed its a turn off ,the toilet seat cover had stains 1 bed throw had a whitish stain. my main thing was my mom who could not enjoy the 4 day vacation cause the host did not assist in trying to get even the maintenance or gardener atleast to help get my mom down, who we only saw once when we arrived and when we checked out.it's non refundable i understand but had the host been honest about the stairs it would've been helpful, the host then changed our conversation and said I did not communicate with her it was another colleague of hers. On our check out I asked assistance from one of the home owner asking the gardener to help get my mom down the stairs which he did and another gardener and thanked them. Our host never called to check if we needed assistance. I will never forget how this host Alandra handled this situation she seemed reasonable but at the end of the day she knew what she was doing and that's heartless of her to treat someone whose in a wheelchair like that.

It was self catering and i enjoy cooking for my family

Honestly i cant say as i was happy with everything just the WIFI password's wasn't working when we tried to connect maybe it needs to be updated.

The location and house was lovely

I paid for cleaning services when booking only for the owner to say there was no cleaning services during the stay. We had to clean ourselves. There was insufficient toilet paper

felt very comfortable. outdoor space was exceptional

bed in main bedroom was a bit lumpy.

The property is just right opposite the beach. It is a second away. We booked no. 5 Marginella and the house was spacious, beautiful and accommodating. Almost everything is nearby. Very safe place and friendly people around. We really enjoyed our stay.

The process of collecting and returning the remote, the key lock box, it’s so long and so unnecessary. I’d suggest a much more simpler way.

Loved the view and being central above beautiful eateries. The unit was lovely and mod. Would love to come and stay again but for longer. Loved having our dog with us and he was so well behaved - first time we have done this.

The locals doing their rituals both day and night. There must be something that can be done about it - why on the main beach screaming and shouting - very bad for the tourism industry. I know they've been doing it for years but absolute nonsense 😔 also the block next door is being revamped and the workers were taking pictures of my daughter so we went to Umhlanga to swim. Not your fault but so uncomfortable. Weekend no workers so it was better. Beaches are very dirty and rubbish everywhere - lots of rats. Time to employ someone to empty the dustbins a few times a day. Didn't see lifeguards on duty once - they need to have a presence besides washing their car? Promenade broken fence and stairs in places, dangerous for little people. Come on guys fix things pls. If the municipality doesn't do it - as residents do something this is your investment 🤷 Getting the key out of the safety box was really difficult, to turn the digits was hard.
