It was very warm and cozy. The location is very excellent. Everything is close.

Checking in was confusing

The view from living room is lovley, the living room decor.is very nice, the proximity to amenities/Budapest City centre, public transport and airport shuttle bus is really good. Nice bathroom downstairs, ensuite bathroom door did not close and the ceiling loft hatch dropped down exposing the ceiling insulation.

Very poor instructions for apartment access, not clear at all, took us about an hour to get in and find the actual apartment, probably because we couldn't quite believe that the entry was the actual entry to the apartment we were booked in, please see below why. Once through the main gate, the lobby/stairwell and makeshift lift to the apartment was very dark and dirty, very poor lighting, scary area. I would not go out into the lobby at any time of day on my own. If we had arrived through the night we most definitely would not have stayed. Luckily a customer from the sex shop within the building on the floor below helped us. The bedroom is a mezzanine, very tight staircase, no space for the suitcase in the bedroom or any wardrobe, we lived out of our suitcase from the living room. Very low hard bed, no linen on the bedding, poor quality quilt and pillows. Nice apartment but needs a paint freshen up and visitors need informing of how the lobby/stairwell looks etc prior to booking so that they can decide before booking whether they would accept this or not.

Lovely renovated apartment in old historic building. High ceiling living \ kitchen area with imaginative mezzanine bedroom. Easy walk into town and major metro and bus stop nearby.

Apartment was beautiful,very clean, really big and had everything we could ever need. Great location. Lovely luxury furniture, easy to use AC and heating. Washing machine and dishwasher were a good addition. Would definitely return.

TV would not work

Location was perfect right by the metro & in walking distance of lots of key things. The lounge/living area was stunning.

The bed has to be the worst bed we’ve ever slept in and looking back on other reviews the hosts are aware of this along with a number of outstanding issues that haven’t been dealt with which is such a shame as if these issues were addressed they could charge far more for this property but don’t seem to want to fix easy issues.

The process to get the keys is not very clear. You need to be more clear that the first key is obtain in the # 12, and then the second key on # 14. The issue is that the main door at #14 is open, then when you get that key, is very confusing where the apartment is located since the other key is in other building to open the main door, but not very clear if it is 14 or 12. Kind of crazy. It was also a little bit late receiving they two codes.

Getting the keys was very confused. The tv does not connect to any source and the security box does not work.

good location, very spacious, enormous amount of storage, probably good for a family, the two bathrooms were convenient and AC was a life savor during the hear wave.

-not that the owners have anything to do with it but the apartment is located on a very noisy road and the trams shakes the apartment all day/night . even with the kitchen/living room doors closed , it was still really noisy. it was probably mostly our fault for not doing proper research but it was one of the main drag. -the bed wasn’t very comfortable( very hard ) and comforter was rough. - the apartment seemed clean but probably because it is so large, the cleaning staff may just be cleaning the main area ( toilet/shower/kitchen). the closets were dusty and the cabinets had splatter and were dirty. also we were not giving a sponge to clean our dishes ( there is however a dishwasher)

Everything, it was perfect!

Maybe just the location instructions are a bit tricky but otherwise it was amazing!

NOTHING, please read - I have contacted the owners about our issues and they have disregarded everything and blamed it on the people who ‘own the building’ - they have made multiple excuses. We did not stay one night in the property yet they have blamed us for not contacting them while on holiday about the issues. It was stressful enough arriving and having to find alternative accommodation due to the purposeful false advertisements. I am ready for their response to this review which will be excuses and ‘sincere apologies with no action’

Very run down, damp all in the property - there are holes in the ceiling. Bed is not what is advertised at all. I can not express the false advertisement with the photos they have used. There are bins down stairs that stink the whole accommodation out. Graffiti all up the walls to the property inside. I understand this may be out of their control but for obvious reasons don’t think to mention this.
