The location is superb; it felt like I was in the centre of the city with great access to shops, transport and facilities. Great options for storing and preparing food in the apartment (which was really useful for me as I'm on a plant-based, gluten-free diet). Comfortable heating options with air-con and radiators.

There seemed to be a few items left behind by previous occupants (some shoes, a coat) which were in the drawers. I felt that the pillows were a little time-worn and could perhaps be replaced. I feel that there's scope for more instructions about how to use the heating/air-con and TV. I was able to figure it out myself but a little reference material could be handy!

Very good central location, close to the city centre and public transport.

Extremely rude host. Left a 4/10 review with complains about the cleanliness (we found empty wrappers and bottles in the room) and the facilities (the shower did not work and the bed was broken). Immediately after the review was posted, I received a series of messages from the host in which he did not address any of our complaints and instead called us 'stinky greasy English poor people' followed by several unprofessional and abusive messages.

Localisation

Rooms were unacceptably dirty, plenty of trash and dirt under the beds, stained bedding set. First thing that hits after arriving is smell of urine and mold. Owner dries sheets and towels from previous guests on a rack in your room, which takes up space and looks horrid. Plenty of mold at the shower space and bath doors that doesn't lock. SHAME! Never again
