BpR KYANIT Design Apartments with A/C

The location on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street was perfect. St Stephen Basilika opposite. Lidl, 24hr store, Bars and Restaurants all adjacent. There was a large pub beside the apartment but we heard no noise from it. The apartments were nice and quiet and ours (no.2) was overlooking the street and the only noise was low from traffic and only loud because the ambulances would pass by but at night it was quiet and easy to sleep. The apartments is up a flight if stairs with with built in kitchen which was perfect with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, dining set, dishwasher and fridge. The TV was large with a sofa opposite it and we had access to Netflix, YouTube etc. The host also very kindly left a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us on arrival which was a really nice touch. The heating worked fine as did Aircon. There was always hot water for showering/bathing. Bed was comfortable and I suffer with severe chronic pain so beds are always a worry for me. You get a thin duvet and pillow but as mentioned you have to pay a small amount for extra pillows and pillow cases. The security for the apartment is top notch. Keys easily accessible from the lockbox outside the flat whereupon you then open a locked steel gate where there are two apartments behind it, to the left residents with signs quite rightly informing people that it is not a rented apartment, to the right the apartment we were staying in with again another lock so it is very safe. The apartment was also only 5 minutes walk down the street to Helvetic Dental Clinic which I was attending so that was a great thing. Overall we had a very pleasant and peaceful stay and I would definitely return next time in Budapest especially if the minor issues are rectified. This apartment definitely wins for location and facilities and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Host was as mentioned easily contacted and quick to act if there was a problem. It is a very central location and which are beat it for price.

I did have to pay a small charge for extra pillows and we did have to buy extra towels as only two were there for an entire week which wasn't appropriate and there were only two bath towels provided and tiny washcloths as hand towels so we bought our own in Jysk which is just up the road from the apartment. That was something I thought was very inappropriate for a couple staying for 8 nights. We also had issues with the TV, AC and WiFi on arrival which really should have been checked before we arrived but we contacted the host and it was immediately fixed by the host sending a maintenance worker to fix things for us so no big deal. The layout of the apartment is a little odd , kitchen and living area leads into a bathroom through very squealy sliding glass doors and the bathroom contained a bath/shower, sink and washing machine but the toilet isn't there, it is in its own small closet room inside the door which did have an awful smell of sewerage in it which I think was coming from an odd hole in the wall where something used to be but we bought air freshener and scented candles in Lidl and sorted it out that way. As mentioned there was a washing machine but nowhere or way to dry clothes we wanted to wash. We did wash some stuff and left them on the radiator to dry but it took a good while. The curtains in the living room and bedroom are too long and on a pully cord and were very awkward to close. The bedroom layout could have been made much better by repositioning the bed lengthways instead of wall to wall as you had to shimmy around the bed to get to the other side and the curtains being too long meant when my partner accidentally stood on them they partly came off their rail and we were unable to fix them as the windows are so high so I had to use hair clamps to keep them shut but these are minor flaws for such a great apartment in an extremely central location close to everything.

We arrived at the apartment late at night. 5 people. Entering the apartment was simple and convenient according to the instructions we received. First of all, the location of the apartment is simply wonderful, close to everywhere. The apartment itself is beautiful, big and spacious, modern and new. 3 bedrooms, one room has a bath. The apartment has 2 toilets. A comfortable kitchen. perfect. Highly recommend

Bed duvet wasn’t comfy. Ac only in living room, and fam in bedroom was soo loud. Internet was so slow was no bother in using it, or unable to watch tv. I also requested a cot 7 months in advance and their policies changed without updating me so my baby sleep in the bed whilst husband slept on the sofa bed.
