"Never again"

The apartment is so dirty. My white socks are ruined after walking on the carpet. There are flies in the bathroom and a disgusting toilet brush that should’ve been replaced a while ago. Considering that my 5 days stay probably paid someone’s monthly rent and I got this monstrosity is insane. Would definitely recommend staying in a proper hotel. This is not a hotel, even though the price tag it feels like a cheap airbnb. No reception and the person in contact via booking is so unlikable. We requested check out at 11 am which was confirmed and I kept receiving messages about our check out being at 10 am. So annoying.

The unit is very clean and pretty well appointed. If your a cricket or Australian Rules football fan you’ll be impressed, it is diagonally across the road intersection from the ‘Gabba’ - 100m away. Free underground and secured parking is very nice touch - you won’t find that at too many other inner city apartments. There is a large fridge, stove/oven, microwave and everything else you would expect for a short -med stay. The rental management team were on the ball with regular updates, reminders and an excellent information page and videos on getting into the apartment -key location, parking protocols etc. there are plenty of excellent nearby (walking) restaurants and cafes for dinner, lunch and breakfast. Plenty of buses and train stations nearby.

The couch is looking a little old and maybe in need of a good upholstery clean. The kitchen table is also a little wonky and was not sitting level.

"Great One Bedroom apartment close to cafes"

I was working in Woolloongabba, so this was really a short walk to South City Square. I especially loved how close it was located to nice cafes. Nice views of the city. It’s a great one bedroom apartment. The kitchen was well equipped.

I tripped twice on the step to the bathroom but really that wasn’t much. It doesn’t have much of a dining table and chairs. But I didn’t have to use it, as it was easy to enjoy my dinner in front of the TV.

The owners seem to have a high level of paranoia. They took the money two weeks before arrival but would not give any information about access, when it was finally given we had to find a lock box hidden behind a fire hydrant. When we called the owners rep we were told where to find it and the code number. It was difficult to read the box and failed to operate. The rep asked us to film our operation for him, finally he gave us the correct code number, What a joke. I also believe the location would go against fire regulations. No visible building number was also very unhelpful and the pervading smell of Chinese cooking or take away was unpleasant
