Choisi pour son emplacement, entre gare de Bruxelles nord et le but de ma visite, c'était un premier atout. Le second est l'accueil et les nombreuses explications (visites, restaurants...) que l'hôte m'a donnée.

Great view from the balcony overlooking the Atomium and the non-central part of Brussels. Easy access to trams, buses, and trains. Localized instructions and TV channels. All essential supplies for the stay were provided.

The host was late: he said he would arrive in “5–10 minutes (maximum)” but actually came after 40 minutes. The listing description is inaccurate: there is no washing machine, dishwasher, or dryer in the kitchen. At check-in, the apartment had already been without hot water for 4 days, which the host did not inform us about (he claimed he didn’t know). Unfortunately, hot water never appeared during the entire stay.

Nagyon kényelmes, tiszta, minden szükséges dologgal felszerelt lakás, gyönyörű kilátással. Karim, a tulajdonos nagyon kedves, segítőkész volt. Másoknak is ajánlani fogom a szállást, ha Brüsszelben jár.

The apartment is cosy and equipped with everything you might need. I loved the retro bathroom tiles and cabinet, and especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony. I appreciate the TV programmes from Croatia, and the first aid kit in the bathroom. The problem of the sun waking people up in the morning has also been solved with the addition of a shade that blocks the light at the entrance to the room. Even on hot days, the apartment remained at a fairly moderate temperature without the need for air conditioning. Karim is an excellent, friendly host with a great sense of humour. He provided lots of useful information about the city, its history, interesting places to visit and how to use public transport efficiently. All in all, I would book it again. The location is perfect — it's just a 20–30 minute walk from the city centre, but you can reach it by train in just 5–6 minutes from Brussels Central and 9 minutes from Brussels Midi/Zuid, with trains passing by every 1–5 minutes. Since it's just across the street from Brussels Nord railway station, it's very convenient for reaching the city centre, the south of the city and Schuman station (for transfers to Charleroi Airport and the European Quarter, respectively). The Flixbus station is also next to the Brussels Nord station. Some reviewers mentioned not feeling safe late at night because of suspicious people hanging around the railway station, but that's not true – the same thing happens in the city centre anyway. I was out until around midnight, so I don't know what happens later, but it was just a normal hot summer's evening in a big city with lots of people hanging out outdoors.

As a Turkish coffee lover, I would have loved a "cezve" there, but I know it's not a custom in that part of Europe. Also, please note that AC is not built in, but a mobile one (for those who pay attention to it). These are just minor things,

Mr Karim est très accueillant, serviable et au petit soin avec ses hôtes. Il m'a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires dont j'avais besoin. Une adresse que je recommande. Allez-y sans hésiter. Très bon emplacement par rapport au transport en commun,les sites touristiques et le centre de Bruxelles.

Appartement confortable, propre et bien situé près du centre. La terrasse est un plus ainsi que la place de parking dans un garage sécurisé. Mention spéciale à Karim, un hôte exceptionnel et très attentionné qui aime le contact avec ses hôtes, toujours disponible et prêt à rendre service. Il nous a donné plein de conseils pratiques pour visiter la ville.

Super flexible host allowing me to optimize my trip and make the most out of my visit to Brussels. Highly recommended, will be considering this property again for future stays in the city.

A good location for public transport and walking into the city centre it's a flat terrain so an easy walk. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything you need and more with Karim the host going the extra mile to make our stay relaxing provided tea and coffee and sugar and salt and spices soap and cleaning products towels and tea towels. The views from the good size balcony are fantastic by day and night. The bed was comfortable and had a nice sofa and great tv with plenty of channels in most languages. Any help you need Karim will supply I'm sure. We will stay here again if we return to Brussels.
