Kazinczy At Szimpla Apartment

The location is very convenient, close to the city centre and to the popular hipsterish area with quirky shops and ruin bars. There is also Tesco and Spar nearby.

Unfortunately the room looked different in real life, with different furniture and definitely not as clean as we were expecting. The apartment is located on the ground floor with metal bars and since there were people walking around all the time, we had to have the courtains shut the whole time to have privacy, therefore the apartment was dark and we had to have lights on all the time, even during the day. First of all the whole apartment smelled extremely musty and even after airing the rooms frequently we could not get rid of the moist, musty smell (our clothes also started to smell musty after 2 days). The apartment would definitely benefit from a dehumidifier as the brick walls are definitely bringing moisture in. The bathroom was not equipped well, no bath mat so when we opened the shower doors the whole floor was wet and there were not extra towels or a mop to dry it with so we had to use the tiny bathroom towel that was provided. We would also welcome at least one more small towel per person, since we stayed for 3 nights and only received 1 towel each. Sadly, we also noticed black mould in the bathroom above the shower. The kitchen had some dishes there, one pot and one pan, a few glasses and mugs. We were missing knives that would be sharp and deeper bowls for soups. Sadly there were no chairs provided as were shown in the picture, so we could use the breakfast table .. on the second day we realised that we have some chairs as bedside tables, so we used them. The stairs were slightly dangerous as the wooden bits were broken towards the end and we had to pay attention each time to not fall down. Overall, as we have booked this apartment for a romantic getaway with my partner, we were definitely dissapointed.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean, cozy, quiet, in the center of the city.

Struttura centralissima e nonostante questo l'alloggio era molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Host gentile. C'è tutto.

Le scale per salire sul soppalco, forse erano un po' ripide e le ultime sono rotte. Un rotolo di carta igienica per due persone per 4 notti, abbiamo risolto andando a comprare noi altre cose per l'igiene.

La ubicación es perfecta. En plena calle del barrio judío. A pedar de ser una calle ruidosa, en el apartamento no se escucha nada. Es muy silencioso.

Las toallas son muy pequeñas, el baño pequeño y se llena todo de agua. Hay lavadora pero no hay tendedero. El sofá es incómodo y la cama pequeña.

Great location in the heart of Budapest, but still quiet at night. Easy access to airport bus and public transport, and all sights

Make sure you are mobile as the stairs to the bedroom is more like a ladder. Also, some furnishings have changed since the pictures were taken and there are no longer stools to sit at the dining area.
