Allez à my house les yeux fermés! Vous serez dans un jardin jungle paradisiaque, les cabanes sont pleines de charmes , la cuisine et le service est excellent et très généreux ! Et surtout vous êtes dans un lieu encore authentique et typiquement sri lankais ..vraiment profitez en , c'est une chance inouï d'atterrir ici ! Merci beaucoup encore à Lachan et à sa femme qui sont tellement gentils et accueillant ! Vous resterez dans nos cœurs 💕

C'est un endroit encore authentique sur la cote du Sri Lanka. Les maisons et cabanes en bois on été construite par le propriétaire, Tout est magique dans ce jardin jungle, et en plus ils préparent très bien à manger ! Merci encore mille fois pour ce séjour paradisiaque ! On espère revenir :-)

If you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind slighter rougher conditions this place would be 100%. The location is alright, five mins or so from the beach.

The owners were nice and gave us the choice of two rooms. We chose the better of the two, but it wasn’t very clean, the ceiling seemed to be made out of fabric and was moving with the wind, and there was a bit missing from the window, so we were worried about what could come in, as it’s in quite a jungly area. The only security was a tiny padlock you could put on the door when you left so we didn’t really feel too safe. We ended up leaving, although in fairness there was a power cut when we arrived so it probably made the place look a lot worse, as there wasn’t much natural light. All this being said, you get what you pay for I suppose, and if you want a an authentic backpacking experience then this place will probably do the job.

To be honest the only positive thing I can think about is the location of the property. It’s quite central but still in a more quiet area. You can reach everything important by foot and there’s some really nice cafés like “the kip” around, which I can recommend.

I thought a long time about what to write here since my stay was shorter than expected or better to say it didn’t really begin in the first place. I booked the accommodation for two nights because of the good reviews I read here but what I found when I arrived was a totally different reality. The owner showed me several rooms saying I can pick one of them but all of them were uninviting, dark and very dirty. The hygiene was one thing but the other was that as a solo female traveler I felt very uncomfortable and not safe in his presence. What made it worse was that I couldn’t really lock my door properly which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable, leaving me feeling unsure about staying there. In three years of traveling I have never once felt so unsafe staying in a place. After taking a walk and thinking what to do I decided to leave and book a new place. Even though I haven’t spent a night at this place I can’t recommend it to anyone, especially to woman traveling by themselves since the huts are kinda hidden in the jungle (not directly by the road) and the whole atmosphere there feels very off and unsafe. I’m glad I listened to my gut instinct leaving this place instantly and after thinking about it for a long time now I wanted to share my experience hoping to help others find an accommodation they truly feel comfortable and safe in.

Es war sehr dreckig und kaputt. An einem Tag ging das Wasser einfach nicht. Obwohl auf Booking ein grösseres Zimmer gemietet wusste man davon vor Ort nichts. Zudem musste ich einen höheren Betrag zahlen als auf Booking gebucht. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert

The bed with mosquito net . is amazing and location for secret beach , a cute little private cottage between lush green plants and trees with a balcony . Room is clean and tidy. The old traditional dressing table .

Berthing is good just , The bathroom door and shower need an immediate fix 😊. The table fan can be changed as its fan speed is low at high speed.

Clean, comfortable apartment with equipped kitchen and good AC in one of the rooms. The owners are lovely and super helpful. Nearby gym, beach, fruit/veg markets, monkeys right outside the window. Would definitely recommend this place!
