My House Ahangama

Ishan was the best host ever! The hotel location is good with the hidden beach in 5 min distance! I felt that I was in the jungle and everything was green and beautiful!

Perfect stay here at My House Ahangama. The family are so lovely and very helpful with everything, which made the stay even better. They let us use their fridge to put some of the bits we brought for breakfast in. They were always around to help and give recommendations, which made the stay feel very wholesome. It’s a great location, a few mins away from secret beach which is amazing and a great and quiet beach (away from all the touristy spots). It’s also only about a 10 minute walk to the main street with the popular cafes, restaurants and small supermarket. We stayed in one of the one of the concrete houses which was ideal (I don’t think there are many pics of this on booking.com, but it was a comfortable double bed, clean and spacious.) Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to Ahangama!

Loved the basic comfort of the hut in the middle of a lush green garden. Also the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a bit tucked away from the main road and just perfect

The hosts are so kind. Truly heartwarming characters that make you feel at home from the moment your arrive. The prepared delicious food, always with a smile. Also they helped me plan my trip and discover the area. I will really try to come back here!

Amazing stuff, i felt at home

I loved my stay here!!! You feel like you're staying in a jungle. All the rooms are like little rustic houses, with a porch. Mine had a shower that was outside so you could look up and see all the plants and in the evening look at the stars and moon. I could live here. Also the hosts are so smiley and welcoming... oooh the food was SO GOOD too.

I didn’t get the room I booked but the very hospitable hosts and the good food made up for it . The bathrooms could do with an upgrade .

Good value for money. The owner was very polite and helpful. Incredible jungle garden. Very close to the most beautiful secret beach- that is why I chose this location. Also if you are in Ahangama I would highly recommend eating curry at mermaid’s kitchen just for 900 rupees. Overall very happy with my stay!

I would recommend to choose a concrete house instead of wooden one. It is a bit more expensive but you have more privacy. The location is a bit far from the place where most restaurants are but very close to the beautiful secret beach.
