My House Ahangama

located in the jungle, you’d wake up with birds singing. So many exotic plants in the premises. Owner family is super friendly and always smiley.

Facilities are mostly hand made and simple. you need to fight with mosquitoes even with the mosquito net. Doors didn’t close properly.

The staff is very sweet and the food they cook for you is delicious. The location is also very convenient

Everything was fine and how described, it’s a pretty basic jungle accommodation. Don’t expect a shiny bathroom or polished floor, this is an authentic nature experience. I loved the vibe, the jungle sounds at night and an almost outside shower ;) Ventilator is also there so you don’t sleep sweating and Ishan, the owner, and his family are very warm hosts who can help you with everything you need!!

The location was handy

I would not recommend this place to female solo travellers . I do not wish to enter a detail but my stay at this place was the worst experience I went through in Sri Lanka. If you want to feel safe , find somewhere else to stay.

Ishan & family we’re awesome. Extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The jungle vibe is super cute and convenient location. Great breakfast.

Wow we loved My House! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here so much we will definitely be back. Isha and his wife made us feel very welcome and well fed for breakfast. We loved the sound of the jungle and seeing the monkeys. We also loved having a whole cabana to ourselves it was like our own little home. It is rustic and fantastic value for money. The location is great to being 5 minutes from the beautiful secret beach and 15 minutes from Ahangama main beach.
