"Superb"

Good size for the 4 of us. Comfy beds.

Some cleaning issues. The shower curtain seemed ill positioned to allow a nice shower. Location is not great, but there is a handy local shop.

"Overall disappointed"

Location was good - 20 minute walk into the central shopping area. Beds were comfortable. Being from NZ staying in a 2 up and 2 down terraced house was great. Like living on coronation street. Hubby is originally from Carlisle so he knew exactly where the property was - as his Brother used to live down the road. This can be a busy road but we did always manage to find a park.

There were a few problems. Firstly the main bedroom door had a broken hinge so couldn’t close the door (we used towels to keep it closed) - when contacted the property people they said if it was an inconvenience they would send someone. We didn’t worry about that. Some extra cleaning in the bathroom would be good - some black mould on the ceiling and around skirtings needs cleaning. Shower curtain would cling to us. A dirty tray filled with fat was still in the oven and cutlery still in dishwasher. Outside bin was so full it was overflowing which could see from dining room. Also some items in kitchen drawers were not clean. And the property down stairs was cold - we kept using the boost but didn’t make much of a difference. For the price of the property there should be more attention to detail.

"Great place to stay"

House was in a great location, very easy to find a parking space. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. This was my second stay for a convention and it had everything we needed to be comfortable.

"A good property close to a nice city. Would use again."

Location was good, got lucky with parking as well just outside front door. Handy shop within a few yards.

House was a little cold when we entered, information book told us how to turn up the thermostat but took quite a while to warm up. Information book say's there is more info in the back of the book on some subjects but there wasn't.
