Petteril House - Ground Floor

It’s such a lovely cosy little apartment, really close to the city centre and a five minute walk from where my son stays (he’s studying in Carlisle) so ideal! I stay in so many hotels for work, I prefer somewhere with a bit more space that I can cook if I feel like it. They even leave tea/coffee/salt and things like soap/ washing up liquid, tea towel etc. which you often don’t get and for a couple of nights, I don’t want to buy, it’s such a bonus that this is in the apartment!

The tv was not great it would frequently lose sound The parking was a very small space between a building and a van. there was a step to the buildings door which make the space even smaller.

The flat was lovely, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning when we explore Carlisle.

Comfortable and convenient for our one night stay to meet up with friends.

Strange layout, from bedroom have to walk round big pillar in kitchen, through sitting room to bathroom. When we came home after dinner our parking space had been occupied by another car. Not being familiar with the ‘disc’ system had to get up before 8am to move our car.

Good amount of space. Nice to have a clothes washer. Was very clean. Good to have a second bed.

A strong floral scents were used on laundry and in cleaning. Hard to use dining room table to eat with column in centre of kitchen.

It was a cost, clean apartment with a really comfortable bed, ground floor so easy access and parking which is unusual in Carlisle city centre. Great location - walking distance to the centre of the city. Outdoor space which was an added bonus.
