GBKathryn was nice to let us in early, although that didn't happen due to car breakdown on the way to Cornwall. Nice welcome gifts beer, cider and biscuits. Fridge had milk and there was teabags and sugar. Towels nice, great internet connection. Plenty of pots pans and utensils.
The flat smelled damp, the sofa was uncomfortable and had a strange tilt on the back rest which made it difficult to sit in, the beds in both rooms were not comfortable. Despite the heat outside, the flat was cold, and I had to put the heater on to dry the place out a bit and warm up. The furniture was tired and did not represent what was shown in the photos. Had no idea about the steepness of the hills and distance to go anywhere. The beaches in Porthleven where worth visiting as the Swam pool beach was shingle and the nearest harbor with tescos was dreary in comparison. Left a day early as to avoid staying in flat due to the drizzly weather on the Saturday. Neighbor seemed pleasant, upstairs needed help lower a sofa over the balcony. The weather can't be helped but its not the sort of place to chill and unwind. Windows in bedroom peeling from damp, bathroom had some black mold around seals, window right by shower and no cover. Outside table was tired, cracking and wobbled.
GBLovely location with views across to Swanpool Beach and St Mawes beyond. Nice touches with flowers and beer/cider on arrival and a useful range of kitchen stuff to hand (wash up liquid, bags, dishwasher tablets etc) which we think SHOULD be in all places. Spacious place for two.
Lounge area a bit tight for more than two as someone would not get a seat on the sofa and the other chair is a bit uncomfy.

GBFantastic location, great host, v clean flat, and loved biscuits and beer on arrival- thank you! Also great green area to walk our dog right nearby and disabled access via a slope- all really useful.
A bit pricey but worth it due to the location.
