Soldiers Cottage, with HOT TUB, dog friendly, great views

The perfect cosy cottage getaway it was just the medicine that our souls needed. The hosts were like family so warm and welcoming the homemade food was outstanding and the hot tub really was the cherry on top. Whether you're looking to spend a weekend exploring local areas or hideaway for a few days with a good book and bird song for company location is great for either. We stayed for 1 night in which time explored 3 local towns.

I really don't believe there is anything we didn't like all of our needs were more than met.

Everything, the best accommodation I've ever stayed in .1st class, attention to detail was impeccable, towels were such good quality, you needed 2 hands to pick them up. Kitchen equipment was amazing, even had posh coffee machine. Little snacks and cider complimentary, and dinner and breakfast would win 4 in a bed hands down. Then there's Billy the cat ... An absolute pleasure if you like cats but if not, just leave the cat flat locked. Highly recommend, will definitely be back, Phil and Gina could not do enough to make our stay special.

Gina and her husband were truly lovely people, always kind and helpful, yet respectful of our independence. The home-cooked meals prepared and hand delivered ready to go was pure magic. Definitely a blend of love, care, and the warmth of family. The hot tub was spotless and ready to use, with a demonstration from the queen herself. Thank you for being so welcoming and genuine. The owners were particularly lovely. They were extremely helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. They also provided the most delicious meals. We had an amazing cooked breakfast and an evening meal that was cooked from scratch (no pre-packed food). It was absolutely delicious!
