Soldiers Cottage, with HOT TUB, dog friendly, great views

Such a lovely welcome from the owners. A special welcome tray full of homemade delicious goodies that went down a treat. The cottage is so cosy and equipped with everything you need. Exceptional value with a hot tub included. We will be booking again for sure.

Nothing not to like ..

Warm welcome from Gina, welcome pack including treats for our dog. Hot tub at good temperature. Good enclosed garden for the dog. Parking was easy. Comfortable bed. Good streaming facilities and WiFi. Nice selection of books and board games.

Nothing, it was excellent value for money.

Location was great

The only thing we found was nothing to do with the cottage but the farms around the area were very busy

Absolutely amazing, the hosts are so lovely and friendly and the food is to die for. Only down side and that’s not on the owners, is the water pipe under the front garden burst, so I had to keep mopping up paw prints lol. But didn’t upset our stay

It was so cozy, I absolutely loved the hot tube and how private it is. The views were amazing, it was the perfect home from home.

Soldiers Cottage where do I start! It's the most beautiful cottage we've stayed in!!, from when our hostess met us and took us into the beautyfull cottage we were greeted with such character the cottage was warm, inviting and snug. We also had a lovely welcome pack which was beautyfull even our dogs got their welcome pack too. The cottage was clean throughout and designed to a high spec, the garden surrounding the cottage was amazing with a decking area to eat or leisure outside, plus the hot tub had its own private area with shelter over, further down from the hot tub was this beautyfull sitting area looking over the fields with views to die for. Gina and Phil our hostesses also offer a varied menu for freshly cooked meals and a fab English breakfast which was absolutely amazing, infact it was so good we ordered our breakfast and meals for every day as it was so good. There was plenty places to visit and Gina and Phil where always on hand to advise where to go and places to see. We love Soldiers cottage and definitely a must for everyone if your looking for the perfect place to stay, we shall be returning very soon as we loved it so so much. Thank you Gina and Phil for making our stay the best we've had in along time.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like, it's perfect !!!

Soldiers Cottage is a beautiful cosy and quaint property in the Herefordshire countryside. It has beautiful views and comes equipped with a hot tub. Lovely and quiet and an ideal place to visit when you want to escape from the daily grind. Gina and Phil are amazing hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome . The welcome tray full of goodies was beautiful, and we loved the birthday banner and personalised message for my partner, thankyou Gina! We ordered freshly homecooked meals during our stay, and they were delicious. Compliments to the chef . Everything you could think of was provided; its a proper home from home . We especially loved the photo album showing the history of the building and its restoration. For those wanting to read ,watch films do puzzles or play board games, these were provided too. Bathrobes for the hot tub were provided which was a fabulous treat... such a quiet and peaceful place . The cottage is decorated inside and out with fairy lights and quaint quirky decor, with a love heart theme ,comfy bed, downstairs bathroom, and a lovely kitchen with everything you need... Its just beautiful. Gina and Phil, thank you for your five star hospitality. We will see you again soon.

Lovely cosy little cottage, food dinner and breakfasts served to your door was fabulous from our wonderful hosts, and a lovely touch on arrival was our welcome tray with lots of home made cakes and even some little treats for our little dog,excellent location for visiting Hereford, Abergavenny, symonds Yat, Hay on wye,etc The hot tub was great. We will definitely be going back to stay

Lovely greeting on arrival by hosts with a nice welcoming hamper of goodies. Very cosy cottage. Dog friendly with treats for the dog too, enclosed garden Nice to be able to pre-order evening dinner and breakfast that was delived to the door

The hosts were lovely, a warm welcome and good advice given on the local area, A nice welcome pack with homemade goodies was much appreciated, we would definitely hope to return in the future.
