Apartment @ Bastion Mews

A well eqipped and spotlessly clean apartment in the heart of the city. We had a wedding at the Shack Revolution next door so the location was perfect for us.

We had fair warning and the picture shows the bed clearly but we did find it tricky to access. Had the treads been flat and not tubular it would have helped. Not sure if its an option but if the ladder faced the bed it would have been easier.

Easy check in. Fabulous venue for if there is an event at the Shack Revolution (like us). Basic amenities making our stay great.

We realised we weren’t as nimble as we hoped so the captains bed was interesting but we enjoyed our stay all the same.

The apartment was easy to access and find, and was clean and tidy.

Knowing the bed was on a higher level was fine, however you are extremely close to the ceiling and I find that the ladder, as it’s made out of scaffolding and is cylindrical, is not very safe to climb. There is a broken window lock, which makes easy access to the apartment from the outside. The apartment is also next to a nightclub, noise until 3/4am which isn’t ideal.

This is a very clean and well equipped apartment. It is conveniently situated for the station; town centre and cathedral area. I found Katy to be polite and helpful. Unfortunately we couldn’t connect to the internet, but that may be due to our limited IT skills. I would definitely recommend this apartment to couples/ singles visiting Hereford.
