Carvetii - Borthwick House - Ground floor flat

it was close to burn island , very central .

no flexibility for late checkouts or check ins . couldn’t check in until 6pm at night and had to be out by 10am or earlier. the cleaners were outside the property at 9.20 waiting to get in . Felt very rushed

very spacious, clean. well kept. nice 5k walk along coast via back of property with exceptional views. (5k back but caught bus) . local pubs and coop, fish shop and Chinese within 2 mins walk.

The building was run down, upstairs neighbours were very noisy until very late. Wifi didn’t work consistently

All the rooms are clean -linens are clean. Windows are very large with views of the sea. Kitchen is well equipped. I have some minor issue and as I email Graham he sent someone very quickly to sort out the matter.

The comfort and decor of the living room and the bedroom. The bathroom was unique! Everything you could possibly use was already there, even if it may have been left by previous guests - shower gels, shampoos, condiments, cereal, cooking oil - all useful stuff!

The kitchen appears to be mid-refurb, the parking was a little hit and miss, the area and building exterior seem a bit down at heel.
