Great location once we'd sussed it out. Good facilities and provisions of kitchen equipment etc. It was always planned not to be self catering but plenty available for light breakfast and coffee. I was in the attic room, my friends were in the lower bedroom, facilities in both were good and the shower was excellent 👌

The only slight issue was the attic bedroom or at least the position of the light switches. It would have been useful to have a nightlight near the top of those stairs as I found it difficult to manage them in the dark and equally as difficult to find the light switch on the farthest wall in the dark with out hitting the coombs. I'm also glad I had quite a small case as it may have been difficult to get a larger case up there.

The property is well equipped and clean. We found the beds to be very comfortable. Excellent location close to shops etc

Sehr gemütliches, sauberes Haus mit bequemen Betten und allem was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Supermärkte, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle fußläufig erreichbar. Wer daß Stadtleben liebt, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben, aber auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten außerhalb Kirkwalls sind wegen der zentralen Lage innerhalb von 30 Minuten erreichbar. Das Haus liegt mit anderen Wohnungen auf einem Hinterhof, aber nicht von den Bildern abschrecken lassen, das Haus macht alles wieder wett.

Everything we needed was there. Very tasteful decor displaying local business and talent. Instructions on how things are to be done were clear and concise. I would recommend this property.

Comfortable and quiet Well furnished and equipped. On site parking and convenient for Kirkwall centre plus local facilities and supermarkets Particularly appreciated the top floor bedroom with lovely light and good views.

Front door lock was a little temperamental 🙃
