Great central location to explore Orkney. Well appointed facilities including a washing machine and close to supermarkets and petrol station.

It was a little hard to find at night as it is off the street down a little lane but got there. The suggestion for off street parking was helpful as my hire car was larger and I didn't feel comfortable to park in the square itself in case other cars also parked there.

Second time staying when visiting family will be booking again soon

Lovely well-appointed little house and the owners were really easy to contact when we needed them. Easy walking distance into Kirkwall too Parking was a little problematic as space in the square is tight. That was easily sorted by just using the area to load and unload, then using the free carpark close by

I would definitely recommend but with 2 small issues to take into consideration. It's a dark house except in for the lovely light attic room where we slept. There is no garden, or back door and lastly the heating is noisy. Even though we needed it on we turned it off at night so we could sleep.

A lovely, well kept house close to the town centre with on-site parking. The hosts left easy to follow instructions for the house and clear directions to nearby shops. We were impressed with the refillable milk bottles etc so used those at a local shop. Hosts were most helpful in all aspects of our stay.

Great apartment, well equipped and in a very convenient location in Kirkwall. Good pre-arrival information and the host was easily contactable and very helpful. Highly recommended for a self catering stay in Kirkwall.
