The Retreat Tranquil Countryside Apartment

Everything! Honestly, it was one of the best places I have stayed at. The area was very peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. The place was very clean and tidy. It’s like a smaller home that has everything you need. There’s a fridge freezer, air fryer, toaster and kettle. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided aswell as everyday appliances, hoover, iron etc. The bathroom is huge and just so lovely.

I was a bit weary with one of the previous reviews about the hob for cooking but after reaching out to the owner, who also was so nice. Basically it’s an induction hob which only works when the pots (which are provided) are on it. It was very easy to work. I wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like about the property.

Kitchen area a little small, but functional. Shame there was building work going on just outside bedroom window, but was quiet after 8. To be fair, otherwise would be a 10. I think the owner thought we were arriving following day...

Lovely modern property in quiet location

Tried several times to get hob to work but gave up to technical for me. Also gorgeous bathroom unfortunately no hot water so unable to use it to full potential- did let taps run for 15 mins both in bathroom and kitchen but water cold
