The Retreat Tranquil Countryside Apartment

2nd visit. Just love this place and my doggo loves it too.

We only stayed for one night, but the property was beautiful, exactly to the photos and a very high standard. Lovely bathroom and large bed. Great view and outside area were a bonus too. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

The comfort. The privacy the safety for our wee pup. The freedom to roam the grounds. The whole place is perfect.

Not one thing did I not like.just perfection.

A lovely quiet stay in a peaceful location. The property has a quirkiness to it with lots of interesting art and decor. The bedroom was massive, as was the bathroom. There were lots of great extra touches like shampoo and conditioner in little glass bottles, board games in the cupboard and plenty of towels for the bath and shower. The heater on the covered patio was fantastic for enjoying a quiet drink in the evening. Our dogs enjoyed running around the large garden and through the trees, the security of the fencing made it a great stop off on our trip around England and Scotland. The host was very friendly welcoming us on arrival and greeting our dogs. There were bowls for the dogs which was a nice touch.

Some paper towels in the kitchen would have been great to have.

We liked everything about this apartment, the decor was stunning and the place was very spacious.

Nothing we didn't like The only thing that would have made this place even more perfect would have been if the bath was a spa/jacuzzi bath.
