Nice and quiet, bigger than it looks on the photos. Very comfortable. Lovely gardens. Convenient location to visit Hobbiton. We loved the freshly made loaf of bread and the breakfast supplies.

We found the house very welcoming and we were positively surprised by the fresh bread we found on the kitchen table. The house was big and clean surrounded by cozy and calm garden, and we found all needed for cooking as well as privacy:)

On a dark and stormy evening we drove down for work in Hamilton and Hobbiton the following day. It was an absolute breeze to let ourselves in and great to park directly outside our accommodation so we could dash our things inside for our stay. We both enjoyed a wonderful, roomy and endlessly hot shower in the luxurious bathroom with heater, lots of room, big warm and fluffy Mondo brand towels and with plenty of them! We were also treated to lovely Ecostore Coconut and Vanilla body wash and hand wash as well as OC Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner to give ourselves some self care after our journey. Once settled in we got into the theme of it all by watching LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring on Netflix through the great smart TV on offer and got cosy on the comfortable couch under the air con and had a delicious supper of fresh homemade bread which we added to the things we bought along for our cold meats and cheese platter and we nibbled to our hearts content! We enjoyed the surrounds, privacy and quiet of our wonderful apartment with sumptuous blackout curtains in both the lounge and bedroom. I particularly loved the special touches in the art that was chosen, being a big LOTR fan myself, it felt as though some of the art sculpture pieces that were chosen had touches of The Shire, Rohan and Rivendell which made it all the more special for a nerd like me. I only wish we'd had more time to delve into the extensive range of games, puzzles, books and magazines on offer as there really were some gems to enjoy here, so you definitely wouldn't be bored if you chose to just stay around in your apartment. As it came time to turn in for the evening, we retreated to the calming and tasteful bedroom featuring and extremely comfortable bed! Which was a brilliant and welcomed surprise, it's not often you stay at a place and have a rest that's as good or better than home! A note that this is a firm bed, which I love, but if that's not your style bear that in mind.

Gosh there's not anything I could really suggest to be honest! But to include something this category, it would be lovely to have some seating at the woodfire area, the lights there are SO pretty some seating and a table would maximise this spot for sure. Perhaps even a pizza stone would be great, honestly there's the space a spa there - go for it! It'd also be an amazing spot for small and intimate wedding ceremonies too.
