Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and fell well below expectations. The apartment was noticeably dirty on arrival and appeared not to have been properly cleaned for quite some time. It felt as though it had not received a deep clean in a long while, with areas looking neglected and in need of attention. The apartment was also very drafty and cold, making it difficult to feel comfortable during our stay. Given the price paid, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and maintenance. The Wi-Fi did not work during our stay, despite our attempts to connect, which was both frustrating and inconvenient. Most concerning was that when we returned to the property on Saturday, there were signs that someone had entered the apartment while we were out. This left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and raised concerns about privacy and security. Whether authorised or not, it was unsettling and significantly impacted our enjoyment of the stay. As a result of these issues, we decided to cut our trip short and left on Saturday afternoon/evening rather than stay for the remainder of our booking. What makes this even more disappointing is the amount we paid for the apartment. It was considerably more expensive than other apartments we looked at, yet the quality was far below what we have experienced elsewhere. We have stayed in cheaper apartments that were cleaner, warmer, better maintained, and overall much more enjoyable. Overall, the poor cleanliness, cold and drafty conditions, non-functioning Wi-Fi, concerns about someone entering the property, and the high price made this a very poor experience and poor value for money. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

The location was perfect

We didn't get code to get in on time. When I did get it it was wrong. Every time I rang I got cut off. 45 mins later I got called back with correct code after standing in the rain. When we got in there was no hot water and the host was aware we were doing a charity hike and wanted showers. There was broken glass on balcony. There is no bin in the bathroom. The crockery and glasses could not be used due to the strongest chemical smell. The Internet also doesn't work. The bathroom floors looked like they needed a good mop. I am not fussy at all as long as somewhere is clean and comfortable im happy but this experience fell well below standards.

The apartment was passable, but could be modernised. Matresses felt worn, walls a little scuffed and marked. We also felt that cleaning could be of a higher standard. Dirty glasses in cupboard, dust on tables etc. There was a damp smell on entering the property, and in the downstairs bedrooms.

Have no bad comments. Brilliant place. Loved it. Def be back. Hosts come back to u very quick

Location was brilliant Walking distance to everything

The apartment was two floors not suitable for young children, the youngest 18 months. I don't recall this being mentioned in the advertising. The second stair is broken and my eldest nearly fell coming down the stairs as a result. Fridge did not work, it was on but not cold. Sofa bed was broken. We booked the apartment as it has two bedrooms but also often a sofa bed in the main living area which we were planning to sleep in so our kids would not be disturbed while they slept. The front bedroom was freezing despite the heating being on, we had to use extra blankets to keep our eldest warm.

Perfect location in the heart of the town. Unfortunately my father took ill and had to go into hospital. He was sick in his room and when I explained this to the owners they were lovely and said not to worry about cleaning up. Nice and cosy once the heating was put on. Owner left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits which was gratefully received.

Washing machine started leaking when I tried to wash some of my father's bedding so I had to stop it and put the wet washing in the shower. Apartment could do with some decorating and overall maintenance (broken stair) which would really bring it up a level. Keypads into the apartment are a hassle, a key would be so much handier.
