Casa Malu

Loved everything but the distance from the home to the beach.

The property was clean and right outside the bus stop.

Could have had the bathroom cleaned more often- particularly the shower. Also would have been more helpful to get a map of the area with tricks to navigate the town like bus schedule, breakfast places, convenient stores etc.

Size of property, access to terrace, and amenities

The property is quite far from the port. The information on how to get to it was confusing for those visiting the city for the 1st time. We ended up getting the stairs from the port and it takes more than 40 mins climbing hundred of steps. My parents had to stop in the middle of it and there was no exit to any road close by to get a cab/taxi. The beginning of the trip became a real nightmare. If you are traveling with older adults or elderly people, please check the accessibility and plan properly to avoid any issue. The buses come crowded, the taxis are really expensive and not always available and the stairs are impossible during summer. If you want to stay in positano I would recommend staying closer to the port.

Along the main road. Convenience stores are nearby. Fast wifi. They have a little view. They even gave us welcome champagne. Sabrina is so accommodating and welcoming.

Cleanliness, decor, dual views, daily cleaning.

No laundry facilities, missing a few essential kitchen items, fridge leaking.

The room was cleaned every day which we were not expecting. Beach towels were provided which was a lovely touch and again unexpected. We had trouble with our transfers which we had booked separately but Sabrina from Casa Malu came to our rescue and organised for a local taxi to collect us from the airport. The air conditioning was excellent and much need after the steep walk back from the beach. I’d definitely recommend.

Perhaps an information pack on the local amenities would have been helpful

The apartment is decorated to a very high modern standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. The apartment was exceptionally clean and maintained by the cleaning staff throughout our stay. I really can’t compliment the staff at Casa Malu enough, they were absolutely fantastic and highly attentive to all enquiries before we arrived and throughout our stay.

Location, staff, the apartment, Sabrina was so helpful, and made our stay very easy. Always on hand!
