very disappointing balcony/no view had expressed particular desire for balcony view

It was spacious, clean, conveniently located-bus stop right out front and market and restaurant nearby. The balcony was nice to have as well

I just love this place! The property is very spacious and clean. It is very beautiful as well - two balconies with sea sight and mountain sight on each sides. It is very easy to get to with bus - two bus stops are just beside the property one is for Sita bus (come in and get out of Positano) and one for local bus with that you can get around Positano. There are a small grocery store and convenient store beside the property, you can buy all you need for your staying - simply breakfast, bus tickets....I even dropped my post card in the convenient store. The host is very nice and helpful - We got off the bus and went to wrong direction. The host told us to stay on the point and came to meet us which means a lot to us.

It is a little bit noisy for the living aera (our friend slept there). But i don't complain about that - we enjoyed all conveniences that are more important.

Casa Malu was very charming, clean, and comfortable. With good views of the ocean and mountains. Very affordable compared to other hotels. The reception were available to help and very kind. The apartment with balcony included a living area with balcony to the mountains, small kitchen, and bedroom with balcony views of the sea. It is conveniently located next to the bus stop, bar internationale breakfast, and a drug store which we used to purchase water. I would recommend staying here if it’s the price you are looking for. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Be prepared for the stairs to get down to the main beach and then stairs to get back up!!! We are in our 30s and managed just fine, but it feels like a moderate-difficult hike to get back up after a dinner. I would recommend a place closer to the main beach if you can afford it. If not, Casa Malu is a wonderful stay and I would recommend it to my friends! Enjoy Posianto, it is a dream.

The location is perfect right outside the bus stop. Which if you don’t have a Vespa a bus stop is prime location to get around Positano. We were also right next to a few mini market stores for bus tickets and snacks. The room is wonderful we had a nice view of the ocean. The balcony is excellent we had most of our meals out there. Very private and it felt very safe too. I was originally worried it would be a shared balcony or easy to access from the street, but it wasn’t. I really liked the kitchenette, it was a great feature of the room. It came fully stocked with utensils, coffee makers and coffee itself. Location perfectly situated next to many restaurants for dinner and immediately next to a great spot for breakfast.

Just a tad bit of a moist smell from the bathroom. It’s to be expected though because it’s so humid in this town so we weren’t too worried about it.

Very clean with pretty good amenities.

It was probably a little further from the port/town than we expected but overall it was good.

Casa Malu was incredible! Big, bright, modern, clean, and gorgeous! We loved the balcony facing the water, but don't forget the balcony facing up the mountain. There a shop next door, plus a couple markets within a 2 minute walk. Plenty of options nearby, and Casa Malu was at the Chiesa Nuova bus stop on the Internal Positano route, which was very convenient to get up and down the hill. We had friends in town who paid far more for their hotels, and I was glad every minute that we chose Casa Malu. Hope to be back again in the future, and thanks so much for everything.

I can't think of one thing I would have changed about Casa Malu! 4 of the best nights ever.

The apartment was away from all the chaos, but yet there was a bus stop right outside the door to get into the town . You could also walk down some steps if you wanted to walk to town, and it was a 10-minute walk, depending on your fitness level. We always rode the bus back up right from the center of Positano. The apartment was clean, looked recently remodeled and the staff were very nice. Fruit shop, coffee shop, and grocery store amd some l8cal restaurants were all within 50 feet. Very convenient, reasonable in price and quiet. I would definitely stay here again
