Casa Malu

The property was clean, spacious and had a nice view of the Amalfi coastline. The unit came equipped with all the amenities. Daniela and Sabrina were very welcoming and friendly. The beach and restaurants were within walking distance and the food was delicious.

Lovely apartment - the staff were lovely and helpful, and the apartment clean. if you don't mind lots of steps (887 steps from Formilo beach) and approx 500 from the top of the town - then you can't go wrong. This is an apartment where exploring and working out which steps lead down is essential (as you can get to the town within a few minutes if you down the right steps!)

There are workmen doing a lot of construction work right next door to the apartment patio - and the apartment could do with some sort of screen up (at the moment there is just a trellis) to prevent the workmen staring at you whilst sunbathing - as this did detract from the enjoyment of the outside space.

The property was great! Ideal location to catch transport to other towns along the Amalfi Coast. You can choose to take the stairs into town or follow the roads.

At times can be very loud on the streets in front of the property but it is not constant.

Room was large and very clean. We had a cleaning service daily so was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large with a fantastic shower. Our room had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean and landscape of Positano. Everyone was super friendly. Daniela and Sabrina were a great help and gave us great info how to get around. Bus was easy to catch so we had no issues getting back to our apt which is not walkable in the unbearable heat and straight upward the entire way.

Super tiny kitchen but not really an issue as we didn’t really need it other than storing water in the fridge. A bit noisy as it’s located at the corner of a intersection but that didn’t bother us. We paid $800 CDN night so I think I was expecting a bit more for what u get but based on the popularity of Positano I’m sure it’s in line and so understandable.

Apartment was great - pretty spacious & clean, host/staff were great. The bus stop is right outside the door & the start of the stairs down to the beach are close by & easy to find.

Would made it perfect if the ensuite had a fixed shower over the bath. The other bathroom does have a shower however it was a bit inconvenient to share. Overall it didn’t really affect our stay. The price could have been better considering we were at the top of the hill, one bedroom other than the sofa bed & had no open view but Positano is expensive overall

Provides Rituals toiletries, very clean and spacious for Positano.
