The Blyde - Crystal Lagoon Penthouse Apartment

The lagoon was great.

The logistics of getting a stamp at the gate for the lagoon is very frustrating. By the time we were done swimming the stamps disappeared and couldn't be allowed access to the gym because now the office is closed😞. We arrived at 14h00 the house was not ready. Dishwashing cloths smelling. Pots are not clean- need to scrub the black residue inside the pot.Wi-fi on and off

The furniture was so depilated no effort at all. The balcony can't even sit outside 2 broken chairs 💺.. Bedrooms better but didn't meet the expectations. The owner really need to do some improvement with the furniture.

The sitting room and kitchen need some work

Balcony had a braai area, the place is spacious, very clean and beautiful

The service was not great at all. Some of their rules are unfair for people who booked a stay but also have to pay to go and experience the lagoon. Some of their workers are mean.

Works OK for a couple not family of 4.

We never stayed. The property was not as described on booking.com. We immediately called the owner to say we are not staying. The property is also very small. The owner was extremely rude and refused to give our money back. Booking.com was no better at resolving the issue. Extremely disappointed. How do you take someone's money that never even stayed over at your property. We booked directly with Mint resorts that night and had a wonderful stay and awesome service. So I have proof I never stayed over in the property. There is absolutely no view of anything from the apartment except other flats and it's far from the pool. The property also said private pool, dining area etc of which none of that was there. Millions of stairs so pack light. Patio area also very very small.

The place is clean and everything I saw on the internet

The security personnel needs to be trained how to treat customers those guys are rube and don't know how to communicate and if they don't address this might be their downfall
