"Quaint cottage on picturesque main street"

8.0

Quaint old cottage in wonderful location opposite the famous bridge. Kitchen helpfully stocked with range of utensils for meal preparation. The complementary chocolates and port in pretty decanter were a lovely touch. Good heating options (wood fire if needed, electric fire, underfloor heating in areas with slate floor, electric blankets if needed)

We were surprised how busy the road was so getting in and out of driveway potentially challenging. Lots of spider webs in higher places (in skylight above bed and higher parts of bedroom walls). Relatively dark interior so hard to read in some areas

"Great location. A bit over priced for the quality/condition of the accommodation."

5.0

The location to the town centre of Richmond was great.

Although the cottages were quaint and historical, they could do with a makeover. Couches were old. Kitchen and bathroom dated/tired. Bath towels old (worn) and thin.

"Was expensive for type of accommodation it is"

5.0

Location

We arrived around 7pm, nothing opening the village for a meal and nothing open for an early breakfast. Cottages were ok alittle dark and dusty, lots of cobwebs and insect spray left on worktop was a warning that there was plenty of bugs. Bed was really uncomfortable sank in the middle. Decor Wasn't our cup of tea too many nicnaks scared of breaking them,

Beautiful period accommodation to suit the village atmosphere. The fireplace was lovely, comfortable seating and bedding.

Light coming in from skylight in bedroom woke us up at the crack of dawn!
