Character building in good location

Bedroom was tight with little room for one of the occupants to get out in the night and a problem with the TV

Proximity to village and historic sites. Beautiful comfortable cottage and welcoming call from host.

Blinds needed repair in TV area and roses needed a trim to make access easier.

"Well presented and equiped village cottage"

Well located in the village close to bridge and river walking trails and easy walk to village shops. Cottage was very comfortable and cold weather was negated by warm fire at the cottage

"Very enjoyable stay."

9.0

Very cosy cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay and also had a log burner which added to the cosy feeling.

Wi-Fi would have been nice but this was stated in the description.

"Great location, historially important buildings but needs to be given a good clean and a bit of an update"

5.0

The host was lovely, the cottages are in a fantastic location and they provide a fantastic opportunity to stay in an early 19th century cottage …. That said, they are tired, poorly equipped and need updating … badly

Charm, history

Noisy and bright location. Cleanliness was not up to scratch. House rules made me feel like I was back at school.
