"Our stay was very memorable. We appreciated the charm & comfort of the historic cottage"

10.0

Location to bridge & shops. The “old world“ vibe of the cottage complete with lovely furnishings, brass bed, chesterfield lounges, kitchen dresser, wood heater & more.

Remote would not change channels so TV was restricted to one channel. Would be nice to have air freshener In the bathroom.

Good communication with the host, easy to check in and out of. We felt that we had stepped back in time, easy to visualise how families lived in the 1820's. The house is a walk away from everything as it is located on the main street of Richmond. The house was tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Separate laundry which also had a dryer. The wood fire was easy to use and warmed the house up quite quickly. we enjoyed our 2 night stay here, suitable for couples or small families.

Great location and unique character of historical cottage.

Our friends stayed in Sargents which looked good but we stayed in Armoury which required maintenance and proper cleaning plus there was no fresh air or working window in bedroom area. We only stayed for 2 of the 3 nights.
